Computers - Y2k
Have you checked your computer for Y2k (Year 2000) compliance?
The notorious Y2k bug is inherent in the majority of computers
built on or before the early 1990's. Some electronic chips
found on these machines express the present year using only
the two final digits--the Year 1998 is expressed as 98, the
Year 1999 is 99, the Year 2000 is 00, for example. When the
century rolls over from 19 to 20, the final digits will go
from 99 to 00, causing some computer systems to make erroneous
calculations based on the system date.
I strongly urge you to make sure that your system is
entirely Y2k-compliant.
