Dr. Banks,

	Disabled Student Services (DSS) and I have worked out an arrangement to have notetakers take notes for me in class.  I would like to recommend Tom Morita, from our class, to be one of two notetakers.  In case he is absent, I would like to have a second volunteer notetaker from our class.  Would you announce to the class that I'm going to need a second volunteer notetaker, in addition to Tom (provided that he agrees to do this)?  You may want to mention that the notetakers are eligible for Priority Registration for Winter Quarter, and that they can go to the DSS office on the first floor of the Library (just outside) for the forms.
	I won't be in class starting on Friday, October 10, but I will stop by after class to pick up the lecture notes.  I can provide NCR paper, so that I can have the copies of the notes instantly, thereby avoiding photocopying hassles.
	Lastly, I would like to meet with you once a week to go over mid-term dates, and to discuss how I'm going to take the daily quizzes in the DSS office.
